XK8 Front Suspension Rebuild

This XK8 came in with tired front suspension that had seen better days. The brakes were worn, the suspension components were corroded, and the overall condition meant the car wasn't handling or stopping as it should.

The entire front end was stripped down to assess what needed doing. The brakes were completely overhauled with new discs, calipers, and all associated hardware. The calipers were refinished in silver, and fresh discs were fitted throughout.

The suspension rebuild covered everything from springs and dampers to wishbones and bushings. All worn components were replaced, with new bushings fitted at every mounting point. The dampers were replaced with quality units, and the springs were refurbished. All brackets, arms, and hardware were cleaned, treated for corrosion, and finished in durable black coatings.

Once reassembled, the steering rack was refitted with new gaiters, and the entire system was aligned and tested. The transformation from worn to fully sorted means the XK8 now handles properly and stops confidently, just as it did when new.
