XJR-S 6.0 Full Restoration

This XJR-S 6.0 arrived as a project requiring comprehensive restoration work. As one of the rarest variants of the XJR-S, with only a handful produced, getting this one right was particularly important.

The car received a full restoration covering every aspect. The body was refinished in its stunning Jade Mica Green with the signature red coachline, restoring the deep lustre these cars are known for. The iconic lattice alloy wheels were refurbished and the exterior trim brought back to standard.

Inside, the magnolia leather interior was completely refurbished, with the seats, door cards, and dashboard all restored to original specification. The burr walnut veneer was refinished, and a period-correct wood-rimmed steering wheel was fitted, keeping the sporting character intact.

Mechanically, the 6.0-litre engine and drivetrain were fully rebuilt and tested. The suspension received a complete overhaul with upgraded components, including performance dampers and new bushings throughout. The front and rear axles were stripped, rebuilt, and finished to a high standard. The exhaust system was refinished, and all ancillaries were replaced or refurbished as needed.

The result is an XJR-S 6.0 that looks and drives as it should, ready to be enjoyed as one of Jaguar's most characterful performance saloons from the period.
